We're Anna and Tony.

Eye Squared is a proud family-run business in Fairfield Heights, founded and operated by a sister-and-brother duo.

Anna is our optometrist, registered with AHPRA.

She graduated from UNSW in 2022 but she'd already been working in eye care since 2017, as a dispenser while she studied.

After graduating, she spent two and a half years working in regional NSW, then locumed along the South Coast for a year. Regional and locum work means seeing a much wider range of cases than most suburban practices. From routine checks through to complex and urgent problems.

She's since completed further study in dry eye care, and has a real interest in children's vision. She wore glasses herself as a child, after a pre-school screening picked up a lazy eye.

Tony leads dispensing and runs our on-site lab. With two years of hands-on dispensing experience, he can cut and edge lenses himself so many patients can walk out the same day with new glasses, instead of waiting.

We grew up in South-West Sydney, in a community with a lot of Vietnamese, Chinese and Assyrian families — the same community we now look after here. We speak English, Vietnamese and Teochew at the practice, so you can describe how your eyes actually feel, not just answer yes or no.

Eye Squared opened in March 2026. We're new as a business, but not new to eye care — and we'd like the chance to look after your family's eyes for a long time to come.
